
The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers, REET 2025, conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, is a doorway for aspiring teachers of government schools in Rajasthan. This examination will take place in January 2025 and is categorized into two levels: one for primary teachers, Level I for classes 1 to 5, and the other for upper primary teachers, Level II for classes 6 to 8.

REET 2025 Exam Pattern
The REET exam is conducted in an offline manner with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). 2 hours and 30 minutes is the deadline that will be given to the students to get rid of the paper. The paper comprises 150 questions, all of one mark each. It has no negative marking, but the unanswered questions more than the specified number can lead to disqualification.

Paper I (Classes 1 to 5)
Paper I evaluates the candidate who would wish to teach students in upper primary classes. It includes the following;
- Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Language I (Hindi/English/Sanskrit/other choices): 30 questions (30 marks)
- Language II: differs from Language I: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Mathematics: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Environmental Studies: 30 questions (30 marks

REET 2025 Syllabus
The syllabus for both levels consists of necessary topics aligned with the teaching needs of primary and upper-primary students.
Level I Syllabus
- Child Development and Pedagogy: Child psychology, inclusive education, and teaching-learning processes.
- Languages (I and II): Grammar, Comprehension, and Fluency.
- Mathematics: Basic arithmetic, geometry, and problem-solving
- Environmental Studies: Science, History, and Geography at the elementary level.
Level II Syllabus
- Child Development and Pedagogy: Adolescent psychology, assessment strategies, and teaching methods.
- Languages (I and II): Advanced grammar, creative writing, and pedagogy of languages.
